Chittagong-- – A mobile court of the Port Authority yesterday collected Tk 1.24 lakh as penalty from 14 ships and trawlers for their illegal movement and having faulty engines.

The court headed by Chittagong Port Authority magistrate and authorized officer Munir Chowdhury conducted the drive from Sadar Ghat to Patenga.

The Port Authority collected Tk 15 lakh as fine from 122 ships and trawlers by setting up 10 mobile courts this month, port sources said.
